Job Search Strategies For A Successful Career
While interviewing and talking with many employers the same thing comes up over and over. The number one reason someone does not get a job after an interview is because they did not market or know their transferable skills. It is not necessarily the person with the most experience that gets the job but rather the person that does the best job of marketing themselves. Having had several years of experience in sales and marketing I have found that most of what I was teaching my clients was sales and marketing 101.
One of the most important things to remember is that there are several components to your job search. In order to be successful you need to be prepared. Do you know your Target Market and what your Transferable Skills are? Have you researched the key facts about the company and do you know what their needs are as well as what personal strengths about yourself you want to confidently market to the potential employer before you ever get to an interview. A one day advertisement for a job posting will generate on average approximately 60-160 resumes, how professional is your Marketing Material and Follow up?
After graduating I will work with you to ensure that you have all the professional tools that you need to successfully go out and target you career goals with confidence. I will work with you one on one to coach you through your job search strategy as well as the interview process and follow up, to obtain a career in the field of your choice.
Now that you have completed your course and graduated are you ready to follow through and put your newly acquired skills into a new career! If so please contact me.
